If your labels are printed on our flexographic presses, one-off charges for printing plates, cutters and artwork origination will be added as separate items on your quote if they are required.
However, when you need your labels reprinting, we will use existing plates, cutters and artwork, so no additional costs will be added.
Digitally printed labels do not require printing plates so there will be no plate charge if your labels are suitable for digital printing.
Additionally, both Piroto Labelling and Label Solutions have many cutters in their libraries. If we already have a suitable size for your requirements, we will not charge you for a cutter.
Yes, we hold stocks of traceability tags, including metal detectable tags, specifically designed for the food sector. Most of our labels and tags are customised to your exact specification, however, so please call us to discuss your requirements.
As we customise your labels to suit you, they can come in many different formats. You can have your labels presented on rolls, in single sheets or z-folded sheets or as individual/single labels – it’s your choice.
Whether you choose digitally printed labels or flexographically printed labels depends a lot on the number of labels you need. Generally speaking, if you need medium to long label runs, flexo will be more economical.
Digital print is perfect for smaller label quantities or where you need multiple versions of your labels, due to the lower press set up costs.
Rest assured we will talk you through the options and agree the best print process for your requirements.
