Co-creating the perfect pallet label

Piroto in the news!

We were delighted to appear in a recent edition of In business magazine with this story about a local collaboration that resulted in the development of the perfect pallet label.

When Piroto Labelling MD, Leigh Mann, met Pallite – The Alternative Pallet Company – he knew there was a connection beyond Pallite just needing some pallet labels. Both companies take an innovative approach to business and there was clearly an opportunity to co-design the perfect pallet label for Pallite’s lightweight, paper pallets.

Kris Lines, Piroto Area Sales Manager, visited Pallite’s operation to experience exactly how the pallets were being manufactured and labelled. He said ‘ It was great to take the time to see the Pallite operation for myself. I could immediately see where the ‘pinch points’ were and how we could help them by reducing the size of the pallet label rolls, making them more manageable and the labels easier to apply.’

Northampton based Piroto Labelling, who manufacture customised labels and tags for use across multiple industry sectors, work closely with their customers to ensure they produce the perfect label and tags for the job at hand. Kris Lines said ‘ By discussing exactly what Pallite needed from their pallet labels we were able to develop a bespoke label that fits a small recess in each pallet exactly, matched their branding perfectly, identified each pallet type easily and displayed their all-important recycling credentials’. He added ‘You might think that very little thought is needed to develop a humble label, but I can assure you that isn’t the case!’
